Fund Sampsons recovery process
Donation protected
Hi, I'm August. My dogs name is Sampson, growing up I always wanted a dog. I wanted a dog so I could spend time with it and cherish my moments with it. On my 12th birthday my incarcerated dad had my mother pick up a dog from Angola. He was one of a few. I remember I got home that day and there was a big box in front the front door. My mom had said it was a surprise, but I definitely did not think it was a dog. Sampson got hit by a car a month ago in Metairie, my mom took good care of him until she realized the accident had caused severe problems to him problems urging her to bring him to the emergency vet. We got to the vet and found out it was more than just a few scratches, his nerves in his tail were severed at his spine, also causing him to loose full Controll on using the bathroom on his own. We took him to get surgery at an animal hospital in Hattiesburg, they did amazing and treated Sampson with good care. It was a lot of money, money we really didn't have. He's doing really well and the good news is that he can regain his Controol over his bowells, allowing him to go to the restroom, it will be a lengthy process that will cost more money. I really hope we can get Sampson back to normal, all donations are very appreciated.
