Half marathon for Cancer, due to the recent loss of my Nan

I’m Alfie and I’m running the half marathon this march raising funds for McMillan Cancer charity. My Nan Laura recently passed away on 24th June 2024 after a two year battle with Lung Cancer. Throughout my Nans treatment the McMillan Centre have been amazing looking after my Nan and I would like to help contribute towards them keeping up the great work they do for other patients and their families.
McMillan offers, services for people living with cancer at every stage of their cancer experience. They are here to provide emotional, practical, physical, and financial support. Fundrasing is essential to make sure we can deliver the vital support people living with cancer need. Each year, around 167,000 people die from cancer in the UK, an average of 460 people every day.
