Saving and Rehoming Strays
I'm raising money in aid of Saving and Rehoming Strays SCIO and every donation will help. Saving and Rehoming Strays is a small animal rescue based in Scotland with a mission to rescue and rehome dogs in the UK. As well as UK dogs they partner with organisations in Europe, principally Romania, to identify dogs in need and support their path to finding a forever home.
Saving and Rehoming Strays is a kennel-free rescue which means, wherever possible, the dogs live in social groups designed to cater for their specific needs. They have regular interaction with onsite volunteers, to help them build their socialisation skills whilst they wait to find their forever homes. About 50 dogs are at the rescue at any time, which has specific areas for large dogs, anxious dogs, dogs with mobility issues, and individual areas for those not used to being with others. Some of the dogs may not be suitable for adoption but are able to live at the centre long term - with long-term rehabilitation and assessment some go on to be adopted. Since being set up in 2022 the rescue has rehomed 182 dogs.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
