Early in May 2015, my sister Aine and I were informed of the unfortunate news that our Mom, Louise (Rachael to some) Dowling had been diagnosed with lung cancer. We were, of course, devastated by this information, but we have, in typical Dowling-O'Regan fashion, have banded together even more tightly than normal to help our Mom fight this vicious disease. Our hope in starting this campaign is that you- our friends and family, will join our fight too. Already the outpouring of love has been incredible, and for that we are already beyond grateful. As many of you reading this surely know, cancer and its treatment are costly. Hospitals, surgeries, etc. (many of which our mom has already had to go through) are as pricey as they are necessary to guarantee our wonderful Mom the best treatment. As my sister and I are not capable of providing a substantial financial contribution in regards to these, we are reaching out to all of you for a hand in giving our Mom and Dad a small gift to try and relieve some tiny fraction of the worry that goes along with this whole process. With all that she has been going through, our mom has, obviously, been unable to work. Our dad has spent countless hours by her side, despite having just opened his own small business. Aine and I are hoping, through this GoFundMe campaign, to try and provide some small relief and security for the parents that have so selflessly provided both to us, our whole lives. We are eternally grateful for any all donations, large or small, and any kind thoughts and prayers.
