Jimmy needs your help in his recent life changing diagnosis of Guillain-Barré Syndrome. Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is a rare neurological condition where the immune system attacks the nervous system. GBS starts with numbness, pain, and pins and needles, that can rapidly cause paralysis and other serious medical issues. GBS affects about one in every 100,000 people and can change someone’s life in a sudden and devastating way.

Jimmy was suddenly unable to walk at the end of August due to GBS, and has been hospitalized since, undergoing numerous testing and treatments including MRIs and a spinal tap to diagnose and treat GBS and begin the road to recovery. Jimmy is beginning that long road to recovery, learning to stand and walk again and will need extensive medical treatment and physical therapy to get better.
