As many of you may know, my beautiful mother - Dorry was recently diagnosed with Cancer (Hodgkin’s lymphoma)
Unfortunately, this can only be treated with chemo therapy- an option we hoping to avoid. The good news is, this IS treatable.
This going to be a grueling and expensive endeavor, but one that is necessary to save her life.
In & of itself this diagnosis is mentally & emotionally draining add to that the enormous Financial obligations (WITH insurance) this carries for my parents. In addition to their portion for the treatment costs & endless list of expenses associated with having cancer - My mom will be out of work for a minimum 8-12 months, & my step dad will need to take time off to care for her. I would love to help alleviate this heavy burden as much as I can. Anyone who knows my mom is aware that she is one of the most giving people that I know. She has spent her entire personal & professional life advocating for needs of others - always putting family & friends first, which is why I’ve taken it upon myself to create this Go Fund Me.
