Quality Over Quantity

2 years ago, my best friend was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Desmo-plastic-round-cell-tumor. After months and months of chemo, radiation, stem cell transplants, and other forms of treatment, the cancer has been confirmed terminal. The professionals give him a year, but I believe that he can heal himself from the inside out with exercise and a healthy organic diet. Having a healthy lifestyle doesn't come cheap, and with him not able to work, my income can only get us so far.

Once we got the bad news. He took me to our favorite park and proposed to me. He said, "I know I don't have much time left, but all I want to do for the rest of my life is move out, get a cat, and marry you."

I want to use the money raised to better Michael's quality of life. I want us to be able to move out, get our cat, and live comfortably without financial stress. If a year is truly all we have together, my goal is to make it the greatest year of his life.
