Greetings Loved Ones,
My name is Keenan Chapman, I am an Artist from Los Angeles California and I am reaching out for your support . I am active in the fight for justice and equality and I find it very important to exsercise my Artistic abilities to empower others. My combined love for Art and African History has inspired me to attend and document this years 20 year anniversary of the Million Man March in Washington D.C. Oct 10, 2015.
The gathering of One Million Black Men and Women is a very powerful and influencial sight to see for our generation and generations to come. The overwhelming fight for justice and equality continues and the change starts with the people willing to acknowledge it, come together and reignite the power of the people.
I want to document from Los Angeles to Washington DC. The personal opinions and stories of the people concerning the current demands and issues in our communities, the mission of the march, the love of the people and the energy that will drive that demand for justice.
I have teamed up with a wonderful group of musicians, videographers and editors to help with the visual I want to provide for you. I am reaching out to you in hopes that you find the value in the project I want to bring to life. Flights for the team, Edits and Minor Camera upgrades are needed to provide quality visual presentation. Anything is appreciated, I am hoping to have 300 people who can donate from the heart 10 dollars for a total of 3,000 dollars to cover the bare minimal of these expenses. The bigger the budget, the better the quality.
Anyone who donates will recieve credit in the film. Anyone who donates 10 dollars and up will recieve a copy of the Documentary and a credit in the film. I encourage everyone who can, to join your Brothers and Sisters in the fight for justice. For those who cannot come, I ask you to PLEASE help me to inspire others.
