My dear friend, Tabitha Cota, has been walking through some of the darkest valleys a person can face. One year ago, her life was shattered by a violent act that no one should ever have to endure. Since then, she has been trying to pick up the pieces while holding life together for her two daughters, walking through the grief and heartache of a life turned upside down and the loneliness of being turned away by people she once trusted as family.
In two months, she will have to testify in court against her husband-the father of her girls. The looming absence of their father will be a huge and painful hill for them to climb, and Tabitha is doing everything she can to prepare their hearts while carrying her own grief. Soon after, she will face divorce proceedings that have already brought over $10,000 in legal fees.
As if she hasn't endured enough, just last week, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and will soon undergo a double mastectomy. As the only source of income for her daughters, being out of work for weeks adds even more to the load she is already carrying. She will need time to heal from surgery as well as additional recovery time after undergoing treatments.
Tabitha has put her trust in God's plan for her life and has handled every trial with grace and dignity. She is strong and rarely asks for help-but right now, the financial weight of everything before her is too much to carry alone.
If you are unable to give financially, please consider lifting Tabitha in prayer and sharing this campaign with others. Together, we can show her that she is not alone and remind her of the love and support surrounding her.
Thank you for standing with Tabitha in her fight for justice, healing and hope.
