A beautiful spacious open home of our own for dancing, teaching, learning, growing, creating, playing, sharing and loving!
Moving Light Dance needs your support to create this amazing new home for our play and work. Now that we have found a beautiful spot right on the river, with plenty of parking and in Montpelier it is time for the transformation to begin.
Ben Graham www.naturaldesignbuild.us has drafted plans for our new space. Ben's design is creative and mindful of our goals and wishes for the space. It maximizes dance footage and gives us ascetically pleasing storage which converts into seating for performances. New Frameworks will be doing the carpentry lead by Joe John, our very own set designer. Our present sprung dance floor will be dismatled, moved and reinstalled with additional floor added since the new space is larger. A wall of changing rooms, cubbies, hanging storage for costumes and shelving will be installed. I dance because I feel more alive when I am moving. It is my heart’s truest desire. It is my therapy, my creative and expressive outlet, my home. It is my physical and mental exercise. I love the challenge of having complete control of my body and then sometimes having to let it go. Dance is my soul’s food.
