Help Frank Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Melissa Robles-Quevedo. I am writing you all to get help for my brother Frank Quevedo.
Frank was not feeling well for a couple of weeks; thinking he was just stressed, he ignored it. He finally went to see his doctor with the ENCOURAGEMENT and PERSISTENCE of his wife. At first, they also thought it was stress, but after Frank’s follow-up, his symptoms were not sitting well with his doctor, so they ordered lab work.
Thursday evening, Frank’s doctor called and told him his labs were very concerning and had him go to Providence ED to get more labs drawn and a CT. Once those results came in, they sent Frank to Portland right away with the diagnosis of Leukemia.
A bone marrow biopsy was done Friday morning, and we found out Frank has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. There are two treatment options, but both options will require him to stay in the hospital for at least 3-4 weeks, if not more.
Frank will be out of work for the foreseeable future and is the primary financial provider. So, I am asking for any help for Frank and his family. Any amount will be helpful.
I may be biased, but anyone who knows Frank knows he is such a good person. He is funny, caring and loving. He is my best friend, and I am devastated this is happening to him.
Please, if you can’t donate, you can help by PRAYING for him to get through this nightmare. Pray that he and his family have the strength to face every bump in the road.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
