My name is Rachel Saffell, sister of Kayla Seymore, whom has recently lost her angel baby Xander Alan, to a case of severe preeclampsia at 21 weeks gestation. Baby Xander entered and left this world on theLords day, Sunday, May 17th at 6:12am.
Kayla was placed in the hospital on May 8th for back pain and possible kidney stones. When her blood pressure spiked and her body wasn't responding to medication for the kidney stones, or blood pressure, her corresponding organs (liver, heart, gallbladder) all started failing also. She was imidiately sent to Aultman in North Canton where she continued to deteriorate. As a last resort, 7 days after entering Aultman, she was told that she would have to deliver her baby to survive, knowing that he wouldn't survive. 3 days of pitocin, (not being able to recieve an epidural untill day 3 because of low platelate issues) later, at 6:12 Am she pushed once and Xander made his perfect and blessed arrival, straight into the arms of his mother, and then into the arms of Jesus.
After the obviously horrific experience Kayla, and Xander's father Shane, are left to deal with the financial aspects of laying their baby to rest. This Go Fund Me account is to help with those financial burdens.
No mother and Father should ever have to bury their child, especially not before they even have a chance at life. So please help lay baby Xander to rest. If not financially, then please say a prayer for my sister, Shane, and Baby Xander in heaven, dancing on streets of gold!
