The battlefield looks different these days — no uniform, no medals, just quiet courage.
Will’s facing end-stage illness with the same steady faith that’s carried him through life. Many of you know Will through the multiple deployments in Iraq, his experience training Marines as a contractor afterwards, or through is time in Law Enforcement. His 16 yr old daughter and 10 yr old son know him as Daddy and need him to be around long enough to be able to call him "Grandpa" one day. I know Will as the man who kept our CAAT squad safe as the VC for our point vehicle during our '04 deployment to Fallujah, Iraq where he found several IEDs that were meant to hit our vehicles. When I was wounded in Iraq, Will was also the first dude to check me out as I was asking him "how many holes are in my head, how many holes are in my head". Will's been there for many of us in some of the most extreme situations we'll ever endure, now it's time to be there for him. Will is facing a tough road ahead where he won't be able to work for some time and will need our support to ensure his health, and not his financial situation, are on the top of his mind. Open your heart and your wallet and let's help our brother out! Let’s surround him with love, prayer, and support — because that’s what God’s warriors do best.
