Bhutan Preschool Teachers Study Tour

Early Childhood Education teacher training is just beginning in Bhutan and there is much for students and newly qualified teacher to learn.
Yeshi, Lalita and Tara are three very talented early childhood teachers who work extremely hard in the new demonstration preschool at Paro College of Education in Bhutan but they have never had the chance to visit other preschools or study first-hand the different ways of teaching and learning for this age group.
A study tour of preschools in New Zealand and in Australia has been developed in the hope that  Yeshi, Lalita and Tara can make connections with other early childhood professionals and become part of an international network of early childhood educators.
The knowledge that Yeshi, Lalita and Tara  will gain form the study tour is not just for the benefit of their own preschool and other students in training but also for sharing with all of the early childhood sector in Bhutan.
We are fundraising for three airfares and accommodation for these teachers from Bhutan. We hope to raise $10,000 before January 2020.
