With broken hearts, we share the sudden passing of Arvind Singh Sandhu (Sonu) on January 6, 2025. Sonu came to Canada (Surrey) in April 2024, full of dreams to support his widowed mother and younger brother in India after losing his father.

His mother, who has already faced so much pain, longs to see her son one last time. We need your help to send Sonu’s body back to India so his family can say their final goodbye.

ਭਾਰੀ ਦਿਲ ਨਾਲ, ਅਸੀਂ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ (ਸੋਨੂੰ) ਦੇ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਦੀ ਖਬਰ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ 6 ਜਨਵਰੀ, 2025 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਇਆ। ਸੋਨੂ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ (ਸਰੀ) ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ, ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਭਰਾ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਗਵਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਉਸਦੀ ਮਾਂ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁੱਖ ਸਹਿ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਰੀ ਵਾਰ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਸੋਨੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਅਲਵਿਦਾ ਕਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲੇ।
