Support Joel and his family

We have created this account and fundraiser to support Joel, Tiffany, Flynn and Zahli Bennett.

On Saturday the 11th of May, Joel sustained a major spinal injury resulting from a marking contest during round 6 GDFNL 2024 season.

Recently Joel has been transferred to the Alfred Hospital to receive further tests and scans with medical specialist in the spinal ward. Some results are in and the current outcome is one broken vertebrae and two fractured vertebrae’s (C7, T1, T2).

The club are uncertain of how long Joel and Tiffany will be out of work for and having two young children we thought we would set up this page to make life a little bit easier to help with upcoming expenses and to try ease the financial burden for the upcoming weeks ahead.
