Assalamu Alaikum!

Back in February, I had to flee from an abusive relationship and come here to live in California where I was safe.

After a little over a month here, Allah guided me through a very dark time and led me to Him! So I took my shahada and became Muslim in late March, alhamdulilah! It has not been without struggles though. My current struggle is getting back to where I came from in PA. I have already secured the apartment and now I’m trying to raise roughly $1787 for a rental car, and $1600 for gas and hotels along the way, as well as food. The rental car total needs an additional $500 deposit because I am paying with a debit card. Any donation is so amazing to receive. Unfortunately, I’m trying to leave by June 26th, which I doubt is going to happen…. My apartment lease starts July 1st and I am taking 5 days to drive there with the rental car (about 3,500 miles, I think!)
