**I’m fundraising on behalf of my dear friend Jackie O’Neil and her dog Susan**
If you know Jackie, you know that she doesn’t go anywhere without Susan. Whether it’s a work day at the office or a day of running errands around town, Susan is by her side. The two of them inseparable.
Susan was diagnosed with lymphoma on January 7th while away with Jackie visiting family in Ottawa. What was previously diagnosed as a ‘sensitive stomach’ and dismissed as a ‘type of dog flu’ by her local Victoria vet a month prior were the signs of cancer.
After an appointment at the Alta Vista Animal Hospital in Ottawa early this morning, Susan was given 2 months to live unless she undergoes chemotherapy.
The treatment is costly, and the travel back and forth between Victoria and Vancouver while Susan undergoes treatment will be difficult for Jackie. The alternative, however, is Jackie loses her best friend in just 2 short months.
Please help this beautiful little beagle fight this cancer. At only 5 years old, she has so many years left in her. With enough money raised, Jackie and Susan get to stay together.
