A few months ago my brother had a fracture in his collar bone which he thought happen at work. After getting an ex ray from his doctor they noticed he had a lesion inside the bone that was uncommon for someone who is 33 years old and it pulled up a red flag. He was recommended to see an Oncologist. When arriving to his first consultation he was not walking correctly and they immediately gave him a CAT scan and MRI. They noticed many lesions through out his entire body including his spine and was sent directly to Chester County Hospital. In the hospital, Josh was trying to get up and use the rest room when his spin fractured and he fell to his knees. Chester County Hospital immediately flew him to Penn Hospital in Philly through He lo copter to have surgery on his spine. Josh pretty much has a titanium back after surgery. Josh has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, which is a cancer in the bone marrow and is very rare for someone his age. He, his wife Mel, and beautiful 8 year old daughter India have a very rough road ahead of them. Josh, who has unstoppable work ethic and has much pride for his family is not able to work. Therefore they only have one income from his hard working wife (God bless her heart). Josh will have to go through many treatments going forward and we still do not have a time table on how long that will be. We are staying very positive but know that the road we are on is going to very hard. The family has too much pride to ever ask for financial help. So I am reaching out for my brother and his family, because I know they are struggling to make ends meet. If there is anything you can do to help this beautiful family in their time of need pleas feel free to support.
Thank you all so much!!!!
