Hi! I'm Delsin and I am trying to raise money for my 5 year old dog, Uzi. She has always been a healthy, energetic and loving dog. On July 17th, she had an unexpected, medical emergency operation that was way more complicated and extensive than what was expected from the x-rays. Once the surgeon started operating, he called me, explained the severity of the damage and I had to decide right then and there if I wanted him to continue with the surgery or if I wanted him to put her down. I told him to continue with the surgery. The surgeon had to remove a large chunk of her intestine and repair 3 cuts inside her remaining intestine. The procedure went well, but her intestines and stomach are still draining fluids and it will take a couple weeks for her to get back to her normal self if everything goes well. With the complications, the financial responsilbity was well above what was expected. If there is any extra money beyond my goal I will be donating it to the cedar bend humane society.
