Help Uzie’s Journey to Recovery

Friends and family to our beloved, Uzie Ogu, are urgently trying to raise funds for medical care and treatment after Uzie’s body lost all strength and most mobility due to a Spinal Disc Herniation.

Uzie has been in and out of the hospital and on the phone trying desperately to seek the coverage and care she needs but her treatments require much more financial assistance than what she is currently receiving through her insurance or worker's comp. The current projection for her recovery is Two Years of physical therapy and mental health treatment before Uzie is healed and physically independent again.

As a yoga teacher and dedicated vegan, Uzie’s relationship with her body has always been that of balanced health and care. That it is why it is so crucial we help our dear Uzie get back her power and strength. But most importantly, if you are blessed to know Uzie, you know the sincere warmth and kindness that radiates from her being and her generous nature that always puts her loved ones first.
