Hi everyone,
I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but my mom’s dog — her heart, her constant companion, her best friend — is fighting for her life right now.
Paislee has been diagnosed with Parvo, a fast-moving and often deadly virus that attacks the stomach and intestines. It’s especially dangerous for younger dogs, and without immediate treatment, the outcome is heartbreaking.
My mom is one of the kindest, most selfless people I know. She’s the type of person who would give you the shirt off her back — and she’s always done everything she can to care for the people and animals in her life. Paislee came into her world at a time when she really needed love, and she gave it unconditionally. Since then, they've been inseparable. She’s her shadow, her joy, her emotional support — especially on the hard days.
Seeing her so weak, so sick… it’s been devastating. But we still have hope. Parvo is treatable, especially when caught early — but it requires expensive emergency care: IV fluids, anti-nausea meds, antibiotics, hospitalization. The vet has given us a chance — but the cost is overwhelming: we’re facing around $14,000 and it’s more than my mom can manage alone.
That’s why I’m asking, from the bottom of my heart: if you’re able to donate anything at all — even a few dollars — it could help save Paislee’s life. Every penny will go directly toward her care. And if you can’t give right now, sharing this means more than you know.
Thank you for reading this and for caring. We are holding on to hope and praying that with your help, Paislee can come home again — back to tail wags, cuddles, and the love she shares with my mom every single day.
With all our love and gratitude,
Dystiney & Chandra
