My friend Marc is in a tough spot at the moment (I understand many others are too).  The pandemic hit, he lost his job, his previous workplace denied him unemployment, and he was diagnosed with "Verrucous Carcinoma of the tongue". all in the last year...it is a rare type of mouth cancer.

He has entered a program at Ohio State Medical that allows him to receive medical diagnosis and treatment for free (they have been documenting his progress considering the rare nature of cancer), but he has no other means of income and has relied on government stimulus, friends and family for help.

His Doctor's are currently trying to determine if he will need chemo or radiation, and surgery...they should know within the next month.  The Medical Center says they cannot prescribe him medication due to his insurance situation so he is normally in pain.  He cannot eat or talk due to the swelling and relies on Ensure protein drinks.  He has lost a considerable amount of weight in the last 4-5 months.

I want to start a fund for Marc so he has some peace of mind going into this and doesn't have to worry about the small things.  Any advice, prayers, donations are for him.
