Hi everyone! First of all, I want to thank everyone for praying for my mom. As most of you know, she was diagnosed with an early stage of breast cancer just recently. We all know she will pull through this just fine and kick breast cancer's butt!! However, it will still be a very bumpy road for the next couple of months. While I don't think a fundraiser event would be appropriate and she would probably be mortified if I did something like that for her, I kept thinking there has to be something I could do for her. So, with that being said, my mom has always said that Fontana, WI is her 'little piece of heaven'. I would really like to raise money to be able to send her and my dad to a beautiful hotel there for a couple nights after she recovers from surgery as a SURPRISE from family/friends. Also, maybe a nice dinner (another one of her heavens as most of you know, lol). Any money raised after that will be donated directly to Susan G Komen. If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know.

My mom is one of the most giving and caring people in the world and I feel like she would do this for any of her family and friends. I wish Icould afford to send them on a little get away myself but I can't, so I think she would be so thankful if we could all come together and do this for her.
