Save Olive

Hi everyone, my name is a Georgia.

Last night, my beautiful cat Olive was hit and run by a car, shattering her pelvis. A lovely local couple was fortunate to find her distressed and hiding in their front yard and called me to come and get her. After a night in hospital for pain management and assessment she is in need of surgery to realign her pelvis to her spine and reshape her pelvis to avoid further complications in later life.

As a friendly and adventurous cat she is a well known and loved member of our little corner in Alphington. I have regularly been pulled aside by my neighbours as they tell me the funny things she’s done and who she has visited. Without this surgery, my only other option will be to euthanise her as she will never walk again and live in chronic pain.

I am a single mother of an amazing daughter Holly who loves Olive very much and they sleep together every night. Olive is the light and fun of our lives. I wouldn’t normally ask for help, but after a rough few months, I simply cannot even come close to the money I would need to fund this surgery and I need to exhaust every Avenue to help bring her home to us.
