Help Support Denise Walters in Her Fight Against Cancer

Our names are Cindy and Sue, and we are lifelong friends and classmates of Wayne Walters. We are reaching out with heavy hearts to support Wayne’s beloved wife, Denise, who has been privately battling a rare and aggressive form of bone marrow and blood cancer for over a year.

Denise is not one to seek attention or pity, which is why her journey has remained mostly private until now. She is a deeply generous and faithful woman who has spent her life raising five children and tirelessly supporting her husband’s ministry as a pastor—teaching Sunday School, preparing meals for church gatherings, cleaning, and serving in countless quiet ways.

Despite following an intense holistic regimen of diet, juicing, and supplements, her condition has sadly continued to decline. With no effective treatments currently available in the U.S., Denise’s last hope lies with the Hope for Cancer treatment center, which has reported some success with cases like hers. However, this treatment is not approved by the AMA and must be administered at their clinic in Mexico. It comes at a steep cost of $47,000, which has forced the family to mortgage their home.

We are asking for your help to lift some of the heavy financial burden they are carrying—funds raised will go toward Denise’s medical treatments, travel expenses, and ongoing care needs.
