As many of you know, Sir Brunswick (Bruno) is  my little ball of love. He enjoys his toys, eating (pizza and steak are his favorite), going to the park, balls, sticks, butt/tail rubs and being the little center of attention. He has not only brought me happiness, but he has made a paw print on many peoples lives, too.

Last week, I received devastating news that he had a large tumor on his spleen,l. Luckily, the spleen is an organ he can live without, so we acted and removed this immediately. If I did not do this surgery, it was like having a ticking bomb in his belly, that would have (not just maybe) ruptured at any time and he would have internally bleed to death. They also removed a portion of Bruno’s bladder and bladder stones.

It’s been a week since the surgery and Bruno is doing well and acts young at heart, again. He is no longer in pain! However, we also found out, this week that Bruno has 1 terminal and aggressive cancer, called hemangiosacoma and another cancer in his bladder, called TCC. I’ve never been so heart broken, from hearing such news. It was like my entire world was crashing down. I’ve been sad, mad, angry, exhausted, stressed and all of the overwhelming emotions. The surgery alone was over $10k and now everything following is going to run us about $1k a month, roughly. We will be beginning metronomic chemotherapy at home treatments, next week, to reduce the growth of tumors and bleeds. We also have put Bruno on two herbs, one being a Chinese her (called YB) to reduce the bleeds the hemangiosacoma cancer causes. Another herb, that was studied in the US, and is highly affective is called I’m Yunity. The I’m Yunity alone is ($100 PER week). This is a strong uphill battle for us but I know in my heart I need to give Bruno the best quality of life and do whatever I can to help him and make him NOT suffer. He is my everything. I’ve never lived on my own without him or even know how to.
