Eva and Aaron Need Your Support
Donation protected
So much has changed in a few short months. In the photo above, my daughter Eva had just informed her fiance Aaron and his son's Aiden and Drake that a baby would be coming this spring. The family has been working diligently to get prepared for the new arrival. They were saving money, doing some minor renovations in their house and looking forward to the new addition.
Then the storms began to hit.
In December Aaron was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma (CANCER). He has lost a good deal of work time going through the process of diagnosis and preparation for surgery which is scheduled for January 14th. I trust we will all be praying for the best possible outcome. Even in the best case scenario, he will not be able to work for at least three weeks. He will lose additional work time during subsequent treatment which includes the use of radioactive iodine.
This would be enough for any young family to deal with, but the challenges continue to mount.
On January 1st, Eva, who makes her living as a ride share driver, was hit by a drunk driver who was going north on Santa Fe in the southbound lane. She was taken to the hospital so the baby could be monitored. They are ok, but the car is not, and Eva may not be able to work for up to a month.
Medical and other expenses are mounting by the minute and neither of them are able to work right now.
My intention is to raise enough money for the family to enable them to attend to Aaron 's health, have a healthy baby and some time to spend with her before going back to work.
Please help them if you can.
With Gratitude,
Jan Bezuidenhout
