If you are reading this, you likely know my friend Amber Hanover (Humeny) (Dalton). Amber’s impact in our community has been widespread - maybe you know her from O’Hanlons, Roca Jacks, Havik, Articulate Ink, the Gateway Festival or the Saskatchewan Filmpool. However you know Amber, you know she is a kind, funny, generous person who would help anyone out in a heartbeat. Now is the time for us to help Amber. A couple of weeks ago our friend was officially diagnosed with DCIS breast cancer and she needs our help to get through this difficult time of treatment and recovery.

Amber is going in for surgery on September 10 and throughout her recovery and treatment will be unable to work for an undetermined period of time. Fortunately, Cameron, her amazing husband is working, but there are going to be many unexpected expenses and going from two incomes to one isn’t going to be easy for them and their four kids. To help ease the emotional and financial stress, we’ve set up with GoFundMe with a goal of raising $10,000.  

Our goal is to get this money to Amber and her family as soon as possible so please consider donating what you can spare, even $10, $15 or $20 can really start to add up.
