Shane, a brother, son, father, grandfather, artist, musician, lover, and friend left the world too soon when he fell ill quickly and passed in his sleep on January 11, 2020. He had passion for making art, and jamming in live music sessions. He loved us deeply, and was a phenomenal caretaker to his granddaughter, Margo. He filled his home with his art and guitars on the walls, filling our lives with creativity and fun. On top of being an artist and musician, he was a writer, poet, filmmaker, political commentator, and a bit of a ladies’ man. He taught me that life is nothing without art, without a way to express yourself when talking falls short. He is already deeply missed and life will never be the same.


With this sudden and tragic loss, Margo and I, Kylinn, are finding ourselves in a very difficult position of having to relocate. We need to deal with the fees of funeral costs, mortgage, relocation, living expenses, flight tickets, selling the house and finding someplace to stay as our home which is terrifying. Papa was our main stability and our home. Without him we don’t have a place to live and I don’t want Margo‘s life to be even more shook up than it is already, as Papa was basically a father to her. He was everything to her. When I couldn’t be there, he was there and I will never forget that. We all just need help at this unfortunate time. If you can help at all, we are all incredibly grateful.
