"I am saddened to write that Uyen Nguyen, our beloved daughter, sister, friend passed away the morning of Monday, January 26, 2026 on her way to work in a fatal car accident. Please keep her closely in your thoughts and prayers as we take this time to mourn and process information as it becomes available to us. A close colleague has graciously started a GoFundMe page in her honour."

We are humbled to share that we received more donations than we initially anticipated. After covering Uyen's funeral and the many unexpected expenses that came with her passing, we will be donating the remaining funds to a charity in Uyen’s honour—one that reflects her spirit and the values she cared about. It feels meaningful to let your generosity continue forward and help others in her name.
