In November 2018 I was diagnosed with stage 4b colon cancer. I didn't have insurance at the time. After a two and half week stay in the hospital, which included surgery and a brief stay in ICU, I began chemo. Six months later I rang the bell and thought I was done with cancer. Less than two months later, another tumor was found. More surgery, more hospital, more chemo. I'm now near the end of my second round of chemo, with no guarantee it wont come back again.
All told I've spent almost $100,000 out of pocket for my medical bills in the last year. Simply put, I'm broke. I cant pay my doctors, and I dont have next month's rent. No one will hire me because of my chemo schedule. I absolutely hate doing this, but I dont know what else to do.
Thank you.
