I'm reaching out to ask for your support for my lifelong friend, Andy Sylvia, who is in urgent need of a new roof for his garage.

Andy and I have been friends since 1961. In 1970, we moved to Ohio together and have spent the last 55 years building a strong, close-knit community. Through it all, Andy has always been someone who quietly shows up for others — offering help to friends, neighbors, and even strangers in their times of need.

But now, it’s Andy who could use some help.

His two-car garage, built in 1980, has suffered storm damage, leaving the roof in bad shape and at risk of further deterioration. We’re hoping to raise $6,800 for the replacement.

For the past four years, Andy has been facing serious health challenges. With time and determination, he’s made strong progress.

Andy has given so much of himself to others. Now it’s our turn to return the kindness.
