Help the Logan’s Family Fire Damaged Home

Hello,

my name is Deborah, I have set up this fundraiser on behalf of all the family in the hope to help out my Brother, Sister in law and their 4 young children.

Yesterday their beautiful family home caught fire in the hot weather, caused by an iPad that wasn’t plugged in, on their daughter’s bed.

It set alight during the hot weather causing the lithium battery to explode whilst Jon & Emma were at work and their children at school.

This devastating accident has left the top half of their house in ashes.

their 11 year old daughters bedroom including everything she ever owned gone!

and the heartbreaking loss of her family pet.

After working all their lives to finally buy their first forever home 18 months ago they had the horrific news that their house insurance hadn’t renewed. Jon and Emma are now faced with the impossible situation of having to find £60,000 just to repair the roof.

whilst they are trying to navigate around this devastating news and keeping their children safe, we are setting up this. Fund raising page in the hope we can raise as much as we can towards them building back their home in the hope that they don’t end up losing everything.

Jon and Emma are hard working people who have always gone above and beyond for people around them. Jon is a tattoo artist and Emma a special needs classroom assistant and like everyone, struggling to make ends meet.

The family are currently living apart due to the house being unliveable and this is upsetting for the Children at this sad time.

Any contribution, no matter how small would be another step to try to rebuild their lives.

UPDATED 2/5/2025:

The Fire Forensic officer involved, contacted Jon & Emma today to confirm the cause of the fire was infact started by a child’s Karaoke Machine powered by Lithium rechargeable batteries. The Karaoke Machine was stored underneath their daughter’s bed. And hadn’t been used for over a year.
