Santos: Rebuilding from House Fire

In the late afternoon of May 18th, the Santos family suffered the loss of their home to an intense fire.  Thankfully everyone, including their family dog Poncho, escaped safely.  This family has been fighting numerous life changing events over the past few years.  Melissa was diagnosed with cancer and continues to fight that battle today with a smile on her face to everyone she sees.  A year ago to the day, on Mother's Day, they lost a family member in a senseless car accident from a drunk driver (this family member was a stepmother to Darrin, a mother in law to Melissa and a grandmother to their children).  Thankfully Darrin's father survived the accident but has been through hell and back again to rebuild his life, both physically and emotionally. Now to be displaced from their home due to a house fire  which will take some time to rebuild.  Melissa and Darrin have been trying to figure out how to deal with the fact that their second car needed to be replaced and the financial ability to do so.  The (3) kids are left with nothing but the clothes that were on their backs at the time of the fire.  While it is still a concern, last night they realized that the car is no longer their bigger concern...it just adds to what they need to deal with.  If you are able to donate to the Santos family to help with all the basics that we may take for granted everyday, your generousity will be greatly appreciated.
