Hi, my name is Lona. My BF and I are raising funds for our little 2-year-old Corgi, Snickers.

 

Snickers recently had an obstruction in his stomach/intestines and was rushed to the ER. Snickers is the sweetest dog, and he does not deserve all the pain and suffering he is currently going through. If you have met Snickers, people say he is always smiling. He makes the funniest "aroo" sounds and my life is incomplete without him. Complications arose, and currently he is in the ICU. The total cost of the surgeries is a minimum of $15,000 currently. I usually never ask for help from others, but right now, nothing is as important as getting him better. We need help... Even if it's just a portion of the bill. 

 

Snickers has a history of MMM (a lifelong autoimmune disease) that he developed at about 11 months old. For this reason, he was not on insurance as insurance does not cover pre-existing health conditions (bloodwork, checkups, meds, etc.) We planned on getting insurance once he passed the age of 5 years old but never expected him to have run into this many medical problems so early in his life... This dog has faced so many difficulties in his short life but has overcome them all so far.

 

I am broken. My heart hurts so much for our little guy, and I am just hoping that he gets better. I am begging and pleading with others to please help us help our little guy. I cannot tell you how much any little bit of support means to us. It took me a lot to write this and even ask for help. And if you know me, you know how devastated I am with this. I lost my Dad a few years ago and this dog brought back the joy and happiness that I didn't have for a long time. I cannot bare to lose another thing I love in this world.
