I adopted Terry in February of 2020 at the Technique Records adoption pop up and I couldn’t be more grateful to Mikey for hosting an event that brought him into my life. It was love at first sight and he became my biggest protector for the next five years. I enjoyed being the bitch with the big ass dog everywhere I went because he got to be a part of so many spaces and meet so many faces that showered him in the love he deserved. It took a village to raise him alongside me and if you were one of those people I am so incredibly grateful to you. He was diagnosed with Lymphoma after a week of vet visits and with previous information about his condition I knew he wouldn’t have much time with us. He quickly declined and after a rough Thursday night I decided to make an appointment to put him down Saturday morning. Unfortunately, he didn’t hold out much longer and passed away on Friday May 16 at approx 4:36PM in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family and with a blessing from my grandmother who had just finished praying over him. Although I’m in pain, I know Terry no longer is and that’s more important to me than what could’ve been. I can only hope he enjoyed being a part of all of our lives as much as we enjoyed him. If you can find it in your heart to donate any amount for his medical bills from his short journey it would alleviate a lot of pressure during this time. Thank you for taking the time to read this, for your support, and for all the well wishes.
