Hi, my name is Bailey, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my family — my partner Dylan and our three children (ages 7, 1½, and our newborn baby boy). We’ve worked hard to make a loving home here, but our neighborhood has become dangerous beyond anything a family should have to live through.

Over the past year, we’ve experienced things no parents should ever have to worry about:

• Our vehicle was keyed and our tires slashed, costing us over $700 to fix.

• My mom (who lives next door) had her car window smashed, and police never showed up despite the suspect living right beside us.

• There have been two gun standoffs involving police just steps from our home.

• We witness daily drug use, dealing, and theft right outside our door.

• An 18-year-old boy was assaulted and had his quad stolen — the stolen vehicle still sits at the neighbor’s.

• Bear mace incidents have happened multiple times — once in our own yard.

• We constantly find broken glass, garbage, and alcohol bottles thrown into our yard, even a meth pipe that was thrown at my partner.

• In the last few months alone, three vehicles were smashed up, scattering glass across our front lawn where our kids play.

• Strangers trespass into our yard almost daily, close enough to peer through our windows.

When we tried to speak to the landlord of the problem property, she told us to “f* off”**, accused us of being the issue, and even threatened to call the police on us — simply for asking her to do something about the chaos her tenants cause.

We’ve called the police countless times. We’ve done everything we can. But nothing changes.

Our children deserve to feel safe — to play outside, to sleep through the night without hearing fights, screaming, and sirens.

Police have told us countless times that our best option is to move, which feels so unfair when that building should’ve been shut down long ago for the danger it brings to our community.

We’re asking for help to cover the damage deposit, first month’s rent, and moving costs so we can finally relocate to a safe home. Every dollar will go directly toward getting our kids out of here and giving them the peace and security they deserve.
