I'm trying to raise funds for my father, Doug.  Two years ago, he realized his passion and became a high school marketing teacher after a great career, helping to create and market life saving medical devices.
 Just recently, my father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  If you don't know, pancreatic cancer is one of the worst cancers other than brain and lung.  He underwent  an invasive surgery known as the whipple procedure, and will begin chemotherapy in the coming weeks.  
His teaching year has been put on pause for a month or more as he works to recover. The medical bills are already stacking up, and even with insurance, the expenses are becoming overwhelming.  He has a long road ahead of him fighting this disease, and he's concerned about taking good care of my mother.  So I figured I'd take a chance and see if setting up this page will bring him and my family some much needed help.  Any donation will be much appreciated, and will go straight to his medical bills.  And you'd be helping an amazing father and teacher along the way.  Thank you.
