I am opening this for my beloved grandson who desperately needs a hospital bed and adult electric change table

Oliver is 15 years old and suffers with profound disabilities as anyone who knows the family would probably know. He does not speak, is still in nappies and can be prone to having meltdowns. NDIS does help with Olivers needs but is very restrictive. Because he can take more than 6 steps no wheelchair for him despite the fact 10 steps is his limit . Being a teenager now mum cannot change him on the floor anymore being 50 odd kg he needs hospital bed and change table. NDIS may fund these things a year from now after many specialist requests and assessments and if we get it approved will then drop 10 k of taxpayer's money on price gouged NDIA provider equipment. I can get him what he needs now for 2 grand. NDIS will not cover the cost of even that because he would need to wait for a new funding year then a bunch of functional assessments etc which take months. So, if u can help at all no matter how small it will make a huge difference to a little boys life and will allow his mum to change him with some small amount of dignity. Thanks for reading ..
