On May 4th I went to the Emergency Room with stomach pain and a yellow complexion. Turns out I was having liver failure and excess water on my chest and stomach which was adding a lot of pressure on my organs. I was transferred up to Indianapolis where they could run more tests and figure out how bad it really was. Within the first 24 hours they drained 8.3 liters of water from my torso which added a lot relief. However, there was a ton of blood work, CAT scans, X Rays, and constant monitoring of my vitals every 2 hour’s. I’m still at the hospital and my numbers for my liver are doing better, but I’m not out of the woods yet. Unfortunately, this means I have no idea when I’ll be able to go back to work, and hospital bills are far from cheap. I’m asking for any help that I can get as the future is up in the air.
