Kailynn & Avery's Medical Expenses

Donation protected
On July 9, 2018 around 1:00 AM Kailynn and Avery were involved in a freak accident while driving home to Athens after visiting her relatives in Fitzgerald.  Their car flipped while going around a curve and was completely destroyed.

Avery and Kailynn were both transported to Navicent Health Hospital in Macon, Georgia.  Avery was released the next day with only a few scrapes and bruises.  Kailynn, on the other hand, was not so lucky.  She broke her clavicle as well as a vertebrae in her lower back.  This has left her in a sling and back brace and unable to work.

Kailynn graduated from UGA in May after earning her teaching degree and was excited about starting  her new career in Jacksonville, Florida on July 30 teaching 4th grade.  She is an extremely hard working young mother.

Prior to the accident Kailynn was working full time at Subway and did not have medical insurance.

In addition to the costs and physical difficulties associated with relocating to Jacksonville, she will be unable to work for at least a month.

Fortunately most of the cost of replacing her car will be covered by insurance.

We are asking for donations to help with her medical and relocation costs.
