Funeral Fundraising for my dear friend Christine

If you’ve ever met Christine, you know her heart is pure gold. She’s the kind of person who never hesitates to help others — even when she has little left to give. Whether it’s her time, her energy, or even her last dollar, she gives from the heart, always.

For the past year and a half, Christine has been not only my respite caregiver but truly my rock. She has cared for my dad, loved all of our animals as her own, and become part of our family in every sense of the word. She’s the reason I’ve been able to take breaks, continue my healing journey, and stay grounded. I trust her completely — because she shows up with love, integrity, and the most beautifully positive, joyful, and playful spirit that brightens even the heaviest days.

Now, Christine is facing a deep loss of her own — the passing of her beloved uncle, who was her rock and guiding light. The person who always stood by her, supported her, and loved her unconditionally is now gone, and she’s navigating waves of grief while still showing up for everyone else around her.

This GoFundMe is a way to help Christine take the time she so deeply deserves — to step away from responsibilities, be with family, help with funeral expenses and travel to reconnect and heal without the weight of financial stress.

We are donating personally as well, but we don’t have the full amount she needs to be able to travel to her family for the funeral and take some days to rest and process her grief. Every dollar raised will go toward helping her cover travel expenses, time off work, and a well-deserved opportunity to grieve, rest, and simply breathe.
