Support Rachel's Fight Against Cancer

This past month, Rachel has been undergoing testing and procedures to help battle her newly diagnosed Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Rachel had a persistent cough post COVID and with her husband’s persistence, she finally went to get it checked out. Needless to say that what they found was unexpected and life changing for her and her family.

If you know her, than you know she is a beautiful person inside and out. She is a wife and mother of three handsome boys; Marcus (8 years old), Max (2.5 years old) and Mateo (7 months). She and her husband Peter have been together for over 11 years and have built their lives together here in Reno. Professionally, Rachel has worked at Renown for 8.5 years. She began her career as a Unit Clerk for Tahoe Surgery and once graduated became a New Graduate Nurse on Tele 7 in 2016. Since then, Rachel has become a Clinical Supervisor and the backbone to the nightshift crew.

We are asking for donations for Rachel and her family during this hardship. She is the main caretaker for her three children and will be out of work off and on while undergoing chemotherapy. While trying to maintain a sense of normalcy for her and her family, Rachel will continue to work for as long as she can. However, her FMLA and paid time off has almost run out and at this point we are unsure of what the future holds. The last thing she should have to worry about is her financial stability in this trying time. She has dedicated a huge part of her life to helping others and caring for them in their time of need. Please help us help her in her time of need.
