On October 31, 2025 Brandon suffered a stroke, and we were completely unprepared for how much our lives would change. We did not have health insurance at the time, and we are still waiting on Medicaid approval.

I’ve cut every cost I can, but I’m not able to work consistently right now because I’m caring for Brandon full-time while he remains in the hospital. I’m truly grateful to be by his side — there is nowhere else I’d rather be, and I cherish every moment of progress. But the reality is that with some bills already having to go unpaid and daily living expenses becoming more difficult, I simply cannot come up with what is required to privately pay for his rehab.

Brandon is ready for the next step in his recovery: acute rehab. He needs consistent, intensive therapy to continue improving. While I support him daily with basic activities in the hospital, he would benefit tremendously from being in a setting designed specifically to help him in the areas he still needs support.

I’m doing everything I can to make this possible, but I need help to get him the care he deserves while we wait for insurance approval. I truly believe his quality of life after this depends on it.

How Funds Will Be Used

Funds will go toward paying for Brandon’s acute rehab. If Medicaid is approved after he is admitted and begins covering the cost, any remaining donations will be used to catch up on bills that have gone unpaid during this time.
