As some of you know and many of you may not know, my brother Rob Reid was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer with metastasis to his bones and brain almost 2 years ago.  After receiving 9 rounds of chemo, the Lung Oncology experts at Stanford said that he would need to stay on chemo until his body could no longer handle it, then change to a different drug, then another drug, etc. until he dies.  As you can imagine, this was completely unacceptable for Rob.  So he researched and found Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Phoenix Arizona.  There they took him off of chemo and downgraded him to Stage 3 (both of which were not an option at Stanford).  This allowed them to do radiation directly on the lung tumor.  Rob’s health has improved although things seem to have just stabilized and he still has to fly to Phoenix every 2 weeks for treatment…he is now on Immunotherapy.




Rob has been unable to work since his diagnosis almost 2 years ago and has drained his life savings to just pay the bills.  Now he has accumulated a pile of medical bills, has a daughter going to college in 3 months and is needing a new therapy that unfortunately is not covered by insurance.  So we are asking for any support you can give to offset these costs and make life a little easier on him and his daughter.  Also, we are planning on donating 10% to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America as a way to give back to a wonderful organization that gives Hope and Life back to so many people who have been told that they have no hope.
