Help Sik remain housed

I'm Naasik, a Black nonbinary person, native Philadelphian, and a dedicated caregiver to my two six-year-old cats. During Pride Month, I faced wrongful termination by the Mazzoni Center, a local health center aimed at supporting marginalized individuals like myself. I believe they should be held accountable for their actions.

My goal isn't about expecting it to be fully met, but rather seeking assistance with crucial moving expenses like first and last month's rent, security deposit, truck rental, and hopefully movers. These funds will also help me cover basic necessities as I continue my job search. Currently, I've faced a 14-week wait for unemployment benefits, leaving me with unpaid rent and mounting bills. Your contribution will help alleviate this financial burden and allow me to settle my debts.

I didn't put myself in this situation. The organization failed to address my concerns about negligence and misconduct, leading to my unjust dismissal. Despite the lack of proper training and oversight, I excelled in my role and was eager to help many people. However, they chose to punish me for speaking out. Since losing my primary source of income, I've battled severe depression, lost my health insurance, and have been without therapy and essential medication for a month.

I despise that money is the solution, but I desperately need a lifeline to move forward. The trauma of these events has taken a toll on my mental health. We're all fighting against the injustices of society, and sometimes, it feels like giving up is the only option. I don't want to give in to despair; I want to rebuild my life with your support.
