Hi, my name is Ariel. I am working on “changing trades.”

The end of one path has left me at a fork in the road and I am beginning a new path.

I was the first college graduate in my immediate family. I kept a professional career related to that degree for about 10 years. While it was a practical job, It was physically demanding and there was limited upward mobility in that position. During the pandemic my job became nonessential for a time and the job only became more stressful. I was very burnt out and decided to work part time. Unfortunately, due to repetitive movements and strain from that job, I had to have bi-lateral carpel tunnel surgery and months in physical therapy for neck, shoulders, and back pain. After surgery and PT I still have moderate tendonitis and musculoskeletal problems.

Now, due to other extenuating circumstances, I cannot currently work in that field unless I jump through some "hoops." In stead of playing cat and mouse for a career that doesn’t serve me anymore I’ve decided to take my happiness in my own hands, take a leap of faith, and move in a different direction professionally. So I'm changing trades

I have recently been approved for a real estate school in January.

I’m grateful no matter how painful, that when one door closes I have the choice to open a new door! Looking forward to this new journey so I can be a happy and productive member of society.
