Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because I’m in a position I never thought I’d be in, and I desperately need help for my fur baby Bear.

Bear is more than just a pet; she is my emotional support, my companion, and my children’s best friend. Recently, we received the heartbreaking news that she has cancer in her blood vessels (hemangiosarcoma) and needs splenectomy surgery. We were advised by the vet that the cancer is painful, highly aggressive and needs to be removed immediately to prevent it from spreading.

The Situation

As a single mom, I pour everything I have into taking care of my family, and Bear is an essential part of that family. Unfortunately, I am currently struggling financially as I have been out of work for a few months now after being diagnosed with MS. Bear’s diagnosis came at a very difficult time, and the vet costs for the surgery, anesthesia, and pathology are estimated at just over £4090

I cannot bare the thought of not being able to provide the care she needs simply because of money. I never imagined we would be in a position where we would have to ask for help like this, but Bear means the world to us.
