I would like to introduce you to my friends Tina and Jen. I became close friends with Tina while we served as student missionaries in the Philippines. I met Jen through mutual friends and later she and Tina became housemates. Both women are some of the most selfless, caring individuals I have ever met. My friends Tina and Jen are in need of financial help. They both have chronic illnesses (Lyme disease, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and undiagnosed diseases) with numerous out-of-pocket medical expenses. They are unable to work due to their debilitating illnesses and they do not have income. Tina and Jen would like to travel to a clinic in Seattle, WA that helps people with the chronic illnesses they face, however this clinic does not take medical insurance. Jen suffers from brain-stem compression and chiropractic care has helped relieve her symptoms in the past. She needs to receive specialized physical therapy as well.
